Family ski holiday - absolutely delighted to stay in the hotel, great location - close to the ski area, free shuttle, excellent choice of food, spacious rooms, comfortable beds, free access to spa ( loved dry/wet sauna) and pool. Just a piece of advice: I would suggest rearranging the breakfast drink stations to be allocated in different, more spacious area rather than in passage between restaurant rooms.

Hello,
we would like to share our experience. The hotel has a very nice location, the bus service to the mountain works very well.
Also, the children's animators are very dedicated, they do a good job.
But our impression is not positive.
The room we got was not premium, as we paid. The carpet is old and dirty, the pull-out bed is very uncomfortable. The view from the window was of the street, not the mountain. The biggest problem was that we were placed at the end of the corridor, the last room in the 50m long corridor. With a 3-year-old child, wearing winter gear, carrying a child, was not easy. We immediately contacted the reception to change the room, they told us that they could not move us.
We are not people who expect perfection, but we did not get what we paid for. I can send you the pictures of the room, the room number was 200.

Needed a safe ski-room, more frequent busses to the lifts (as other hotels have), some details in food that make the differance like always serve parmesan or similar cheese with pasta.
The breakfast should start earlier ( 6:30 or 7am) because when you go skiing you need time to prepaire after breakfast.

Spacious clean rooms.Mattresses are not bad but they could be much better. Breakfast and dinner are very good with too many different choices.
Regarding service, all waiters were very polite and they tried to be as quick as they could.
An area for improvement is that all the employees of this hotel should so polite and kind as the waiters. It is at least unacceptable to have a rude employee working in a hotel like this,such as the skinny barman close to the reception.
Management should ensure that all employees get the same training and have the same level of professionalism.

We stayed 3 nights and everything was excellent. Clean and spacious rooms, hot everywhere, good and abundant food. If there wasn't the need of a car to go to the ski lifts, or the transfer bus to the lifts was more often, everything would be perfect. Galina, our booking agent, is the best one i have ever met. She responds to every request in seconds and she is always there to resolve everything. Thank you !

We had a very nice stay at the hotel. Bathroom could be renovated and made more modern, room entries should be with key cards and morning shuttle service to the ski slopes needs at least 2 vans at once because get's crowdy because to many people are going at once.

The only downside for me was the smell of tobacco smoke and seeing the waiting staff vaping in the restaurants. There was a smoking room next door to one of the restaurants and it did put me off my food as the smell was so bad. Also seeing the waiting staff vaping in the restaurant is not something that should really happen, and again put me off my food. It might be a cultural difference between the UK and Bulgaria but we in the UK have absolute clean air policies and it was difficult to bear the smell of smoke in the hotel generally. That was the one thing that I thought could be improved but perhaps this is a normal thing in Bulgaria.

I stayed at the hotel for 5 days. Overall I was very happy. We stayed at a 1 bedroom which was very spacious. Food is very good even though most people thought the desert bar can be improved. The lobby areas is a bit small. Otherwise everything was good.

The rooms were huge and spacious,but a bit out of date. Lack of furniture, especially the luggage space. They were clean. We didn't have any lamp in apartment, not even reading light, and small storage space that were in other apartments were missing. Upon request (3 times asked), we were provided with reading lights. TV in master bedroom is a disgrace, model from the last sanctuary, suitable for kiosks not for 4 star hotel room. We didn't use it.
We used the spa facilities just once, although the water in a pool was quite dirty.
The rooms were warm, and the food was excellent. Shuttle bus was convenient, but 2 vehicles is not enough for the amount of guests in a hotel.
At the end the staff:
Cleaning ladies were nice and helpful, and bell boys fine as well, but the rest of the staff were mainly terrible, especially the staff in restaurants and bars. Slow, unpleasant, they mostly don't care about the guests, no good day, thank you nor welcome for customers, they even don't say "thank you" when you tip them. Also everybody is speaking mostly Bulgarian, even though we as a Serbs mostly don't understand it. Even when you clearly continue in English although we don't understand, they continue in Bulgarian. I respect your culture and language, but you can't behave like that in tourism.
Even on reception, they are mostly unpleasant, disinterest to proved information, and speaking Bulgarian most of the time, even though you clearly mark that you don't understand them. For any request you have to come 2, 3 times and the remind them.
To conclude: The hotel needs some refurbishing and improvement, but that is not that so hard, it is close to great one, but the staff and service needs deep reconstruction.
This would be a great family skiing hotel with better staff, so please change them, or do some serious training in hospitality.

Odličan odnos kvaliteta i cene.
Hotel je čist, hrana ukusna,bazen pristojne veličine sa toplom vodom. Osoblje ljubazno.
Od hotela do ski centra Malina vozi minibus nekoliko minuta, a kome nije daleko, moe i pešice nekoliko minuta hoda do prve ičare.

Parking - crowded, but we could always find at least 1 available spot
Rooms- very warm inside, clean, no balcony for the 2 bedroom appartments, it does not smell in the rooms like cigarettes (as I saw in previous reviews from 2018-2019)
Spa-quite crowded, especially the swimming pool; the Finnish sauna (there are 2 -one smaller and 1 larger), the large one, sometimes is not very hot and it needs to be restarted (also, as it has 2 entrances, there are a lot of people just coming without closing the door properly and it can be quite frustrating)
Food -half board - it was excellent, always found something to eat
Kids entertainment - existing, quite nice, they do not get bored
Elevators - we did not wait more than 1-2 min for an elevator (or used the stairs instead)
Interaction with personnel - limited as we did not have issues but it was very nice (English is not their strong point)

The room we saw on internet had an aditional bad for a triple room but what we had in the room was an extensible armchair. Otherway the room was nice. The Room maid was terrible. I had to ask for sampoon,soap and toilet paper after they have done the daily routine. Not to say that in 7 days she did not vacuum the carpets and the floor in the room.
The tv is analogic and most of the channels in bulgarian language. The internet was working only between certain hours, most probably when people were away or not using the net.
Some of the reception staff were bearly understanding english.
The restaurant had offer us good food. Some of the restaurant personnel was very nice some other less.
The water in the pool was alittle cold. The lifeguard was trying to colect the water from the floor splashing everybody and everything.

Everything was excellent except associate premises: Jakuzzi in the spa center were not avelable every day and the time for using was shortened by the safeguard. Also, the payment for massage was not possible by roomcharge or credit card. The services on the sky bar restorant were also inly in cash.

The hotel is very good. Rooms are comfortable, large and regularly cleaned. The food is very good and tasty. We have only a minor objection as regards the temperature of the water in the pool (I think it was cold). The staff is friendly. I especially want to commend the agency representative Profi Tours Galina Dafova.

Im satisfied with hotel,rooms are clean and comfort,food is ok,there are two restorans for dinner and breakfast...spa was not best,jaccuzi pool did not work and water in pool was litlle cold for me. I must say that my booking agent,Galina,was always there for us,she was friendly and we are very satisfied with her.

The breakfast was not satisfactory, many sort of food with low quality.
10-15 minutes waiting for a piece of pancake because of the crowd.
For a towel, I have to call the reception for 3 times despite this no towel had been received.

SPA center is small and doen't work well. For hotels is ski area sauna is very important and must be free of charge.

Hotel was nice. Rooms are clear and hot . But restaurant is too small , and I hate to eat there in rush hours.
